Aerial view of the bay and the Piqueros beach (Boobies beach) near the resort and fishing village of Salango on the Pacific coast of Ecuador. Playa piqueros is an extensive beach of fine yellow and white sand, whose gentle waves are ideal for water sports.
This beach was first occupied by the Valdivia culture (1,800 B.C.).
The piqueros beach is nice to visit from June to September where you can observe the migration of whales.
I'm a Belgian based in Ecuador since 1992. My passion for photography comes from my love of the outdoors, nature, the mountains, the sea.
