The Rio Pita takes his source in the Cotopaxi national park. 18 waterfalls may be seen along its course. The Rio Pita rises since the high Andean “Parámo” and flows through the Cotopaxi national park into the tropical Andean Forest. Fed by the ice and the snow that melt off Cotopaxi, its waters has glacial temperatures.
