They are the smallest otariids with the smallest physical difference between sexes.
Adult males are only 1.5 m long and weigh about 64 kg. Unlike the rest of the sea lions and fur seals, who spend half of their time in the water and half on land, Galapagos fur seals spend a large percentage of their time out of the sea.

I'm a Belgian based in Ecuador since 1992. My passion for photography comes from my love of the outdoors, nature, the mountains, the sea.
